“Echoes of Resilience: Nature’s Unyielding Spirit” proposes a captivating art installation that combines science, aesthetics, and environmental awareness. By using carbon(charcoal) as a basic material, the project aims to prompt reflection on the delicate balance between human advancement and environmental sustainability. With a focus on impact in nature and coexistence with nature, this art installation seeks to inspire positive change and foster a greater appreciation for the world around us.The heart of the project involves a kinetic installation that utilizes microcontrollers and sensors to roll paper clockwise. The motorized rollers will autonomously move, allowing the paper to brush against the charred tree, creating marks on the paper and archiving the memory of time. The combination of motor electronics and charred branches explores the dichotomy between human intervention and the inherent presence of carbon in nature. The sonic component of the installation will augment the viewer’s experience by immersing them in an auditory landscape that mirrors the evolving relationship between humans and carbon.
